The Printing Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring large-format digital printing machines to produce high-quality print materials such as flex banners, vinyl, one-way vision, star flex, canvas, sunboard graphics, and other advertising products. The operator must ensure timely production while maintaining quality standards and minimizing material wastage. Key Responsibilities: Operate large-format digital printing machines efficiently. Load printing media (Flex, Vinyl, One Way Vision, Canvas, etc.) correctly. Check artwork dimensions before printing. Set appropriate print quality, resolution, color mode, and machine settings. Monitor print jobs to avoid defects and wastage. Inspect finished prints for color accuracy and print quality. Perform daily machine cleaning and preventive maintenance. Maintain ink levels and replace cartridges when required. Report machine errors or breakdowns immediately. Keep the production area clean and organized. Maintain production records and job status. Coordinate with the graphic designer regarding print files. Assist in finishing work such as trimming, lamination, eyeleting, mounting, and packing when required. Follow all workplace safety procedures. Required Skills: Knowledge of large-format digital printing machines. Understanding of different printing materials and media. Basic knowledge of color management. Ability to identify print defects. Good attention to detail. Ability to meet production deadlines. Basic computer skills. Teamwork and communication skills. Educational Qualification: Minimum: 10th Pass Preferred: ITI/Diploma or relevant technical qualification. Experience: Fresher can apply (training provided). 1–3 years of experience in digital printing is preferred. Working Hours: 9–10 hours per day (including breaks), as per company policy. Overtime may be required during urgent production schedules. Machine Knowledge (Preferred): Experience with large-format printers such as: Eco-Solvent Printers Solvent Printers UV Printers Roll-to-Roll Printers Vinyl Cutting Plotters Lamination Machines Safety Responsibilities: Wear appropriate safety equipment when required. Handle inks and chemicals safely. Keep the machine and work area clean. Follow electrical and fire safety procedures. Personal Qualities: Honest and responsible. Punctual and disciplined. Hard-working with a positive attitude. Willingness to learn new printing technologies. Ability to work under pressure during peak production periods.
